The storm has passed by -- although it is still windy and a bit rainy -- and we are fine!!! It really wasn't worth all the hooplah. Thank God for that :)

Glad to hear it. Just don't get used to those storms not being all they're cracked up to be. They'll lull you into a sense of security, then, BAM, one will hit ya and you won't be prepared for it! But, happy all's well.

We had a nice, gentle rain from Ernesto. He was quite the polite little tropical storm. :) We enjoyed him much better than Katrina who hit our former state last August!

We got the rain from Ernesto today...but not as much as other storms.
I'll keep you in prayer, too, as you adjust to living away from family. I've lived away from my family since I got married, too...17 years now.
God always provides people to help walk you through the lonely times.
